Before starting his own businesses, Brett served his native (Portland) Oregon community for nearly 20 years as a 9-1-1 calltaker and dispatcher at the state’s second-largest emergency communications center. That experience shaped his calm-under-pressure approach, attention to detail, and deep commitment to service. After transitioning into entrepreneurship—first through his consulting and then his handyman and tech support business—Brett launched Net Profit Bookkeeping to bring that same level of calm, clear, and confidence to business owners in Kailua-Kona, Waimea (Kamuela), Hilo, Hawaii and abroad.
